At Servants to the Least of These (STLT), we are committed to transforming lives through compassion, consistency, and Christ-centered service. Operating in the heart of Cincinnati, Ohio, our outreach efforts focus on meeting the urgent needs of the unhoused and low-income communities—offering not just relief, but hope, dignity, and paths to restoration.
Each week, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers serves hundreds of individuals through our Saturday outreach program, Gathering with the Prince of Peace, located at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Over-the-Rhine. This initiative provides:
In addition to Saturday outreach, STLT hosts a variety of support programs aimed at holistic healing. Our peer counseling initiatives address emotional and spiritual wounds, while our street ministry teams build relationships with individuals who may not yet be ready to seek help through traditional channels. We believe that change happens through connection—and we show up consistently to offer that connection.

Our model is relational, grassroots, and adaptable—designed not only to meet immediate needs but to foster long-term transformation. At STLT, we believe no one is too lost to be found, and we work every day to be a tangible reflection of God's love to the most overlooked among us.

“Overcoming homelessness takes more than a roof—it takes a community.”
For individuals trying to rebuild their lives, a consistent and compassionate support network is often the difference between temporary relief and lasting transformation. Access to housing is critical, but without relationships that offer accountability, encouragement, and opportunity, long-term stability is much harder to sustain. A support network offers more than help—it offers hope. It reminds people that they’re not alone, that they’re still seen, and that they’re still worthy of purpose and belonging.
As an outreach rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ, STLT adheres to the following core beliefs, grounded in Scripture:
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, the ultimate authority for all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
God
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, who came to earth to save humanity from sin through His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ alone (John 14:6, Romans 10:9).
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, offered to all people through faith in Jesus Christ. It is by grace alone, not by works, that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9).
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit, who indwells believers to guide, convict, and empower them for living a life that honors God (Acts 1:8, John 14:26).
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called to spread the gospel, serve those in need, and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20, 1 Corinthians 12:27).
The Great Commandment
We believe that Jesus commands us to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. This command motivates our outreach and ministry (Matthew 22:37-39).
The Great Commission
We believe that all believers are called to go and make disciples, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything Christ has commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

The doors for Gathering with the Prince of Peace open at 7:30 AM. Attendees are welcomed in and invited to stay for class or to take their meal on the go. Before class we enjoy a time of uplifting music, fellowship, personal prayer encouragement, bible study reflection and heartfelt worship. The atmosphere becomes a sanctuary for those who often find themselves marginalized.
